STUDENT COUNSELLING

Study Solutions Australia has a commitment to its participants and clients, providing guidance where possible to assist in supporting learning. We provide guidance, support and/or assistance when requested by students in areas of finance, relationships, study stress, career guidance, study commitments, work commitments and more.

We identify areas of suitable employment for participants both during and following training and refer participants to opportunities which arise through our contact with the business and childcare community. Often students are introduced to prospective employers or offered positions at Smarter Kids Kindergartens and Preschools. While we avoid recommending any one individual, we are prepared to contact past students and tell them of any opportunities.

Students who are a memeber of ahm Overseas Student Health Cover (ahm OSHC), have the comfort of knowing that your private health cover gives students so much more than just health insurance. ahm OSHC provides students with a 24 hour emergency service for medical assistance and it's free to ahm OSHC members!

Call 1800 006 745 toll free any time any day.
Please have your OSHC membership card handy when you call. The Emergency Service Help line is accessible 24 hours, 7 days a week and gives you: Emergency medical assistance.
A registered nurse will direct you to the most appropriate level of care needed for your condition and if required, to a specialist practicing physician.

Stress and trauma counselling
You will be connected to a qualified cousellor for an initial discussion over the phone. The counsellor will help you develop strategies to move forward and may suggest an appointment in person for further assistance.

Interpreter Service.
If you need interpreter assistance, call 1800 006 745 and tell them your name and preferred language. This service is available 24 hours, 7 days a week and does not have to be for a medical service.
